TERMS OF SERVICE

These terms apply when you use this website or buy from Clarité Co. By placing an order you agree to them.

1. ABOUT US

2. PRODUCTS AND PRICES
- All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is charged separately as shown at checkout.
- We try to show products, colours and prices accurately. If an item is listed at a clearly wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
- Promotions and discount codes are valid only for the stated period and conditions and can't be exchanged for cash.

3. ORDERS
- Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email.
- We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock or we suspect fraud. If we do, we'll refund any payment in full.

4. PAYMENT
Payment is taken at checkout through our secure payment provider. Orders are only dispatched once payment is received.

5. DELIVERY
Delivery costs and times are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

6. COOLING-OFF, RETURNS AND WARRANTY
- You may cancel your order within 7 days of receiving the goods under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. Our 10-day return window gives you longer than this.
- Returns, refunds and warranty are covered in our Refund Policy.
- Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

7. SAFE USE OF THE VELOURA GLIDE
- The Veloura Glide is a cosmetic IPL device for home hair reduction. It is not a medical device and doesn't guarantee permanent hair removal. Results vary with skin tone, hair colour and consistent use.
- It isn't suitable for everyone: for example, very dark skin tones, light blond, red, grey or white hair, tattooed areas, pregnancy, or certain skin conditions and medications. See the product page and user guide.
- Always do a patch test before first use, wear the protective glasses and follow the instructions. If you're unsure whether IPL is right for you, consult a doctor first.
- To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for injury or damage caused by using a product against its instructions.

8. SUN CREAM
Use as directed on the packaging. Do a patch test if you have sensitive skin, and stop using it if irritation occurs.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the price you paid for that product. This doesn't exclude liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this website, including text, images and branding, belongs to Clarité Co or its licensors and may not be copied without permission.

11. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

12. CHANGES
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
